How did early moderns imagine the relationships between bees & the natural world?

Undergraduate students from the UMass Beekeeping club swarmed the Center’s collection of rare materials about bees to learn about the long history of tending beehives. The club installed a hive in the Center's meadow, a natural home for pollinators.
